BEVERLY HILLS, CALIF — Reality star Kim Kardashian-West has kept her promise to send her high powered legal team in to assist Cyntoia Brown. According to Hello Beautiful, Kardashian’s legal team is set to arrive in Tennessee in the coming days to meet with Brown for the first time. Kardashian was among the first of celebs to denounce Brown’s sentence for killing the man who sold her into sex trafficking.
Hello Beautiful notes that Kardashian’s most powerful attorney Shawn Holley has been enlisted to get Brown out of prison. Brown, was 14 at the time she was originally sold into sex trafficking. And, she was 16 when she murdered the pimp that ruined her life.
She is now 29 and has been in prison for more than a decade.
