Over the course of the last week, we, have probably fielded two dozen questions as to who Georgina Chapman is. Chapman, 41, is the soon to be ex-wife of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. Since nobody quite knows who she is, mostly, because she’s remained behind-the-scenes — let’s take a look.
Georgina Rose Chapman – found fame and fortune as the co-founder of massive fashion house and design company Marchesa. Along with a fellow former model in her younger years, the two founded the now famed fashion house. Their gowns and such are now largely worn by just about anybody whose anybody in Hollywood.

Chapman is the daughter of journalist Caroline Wonfor and multi-millionaire Brian Chapman, the founder of some weird sounding organic chain.
Weinstein’s downfall tore apart their marriage.
After 10 years as one of Hollywood’s leading couples, Chapman, has called it quits after a tape surfaced of a young woman moments from being sexually assaulted by Weinstein. In a statement, Chapman, said this.
My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions.
“I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.”
Despite the damning evidence; tapes, and an undercover NYPD sting — police officials and the like never actually charged Weinstein with a crime. According to additional reports, uh, this is why Weinstein actually denies all of the allegations against him (“because they were never found to be criminal..”).
