And that’s according to new disclosures obtained through a Freedom of Information Act Request. According to those obtained, the Trump children’s ski trip last March to Aspen cost a whopping $326,000.
The documents disclosed that it cost nearly $195,000 on housing for government agents; $26,000 on vehicle rentals, and an additional $22,000 on equipment rentals. A 2nd ski trip during the same time (slightly earlier in April) reportedly cost taxpayers $65,000 in secret service protections.
CBS News made the document discovery after a summer long attempt to gain the government financial disclosures that displayed the use of taxpayer money.
