Organ harvesting has been a topic of discussion this year, erm, no matter what side of the world one may be on. In China, it, has apparently resurfaced once more that officials are forcing people to give up their organs (..specifically those on death row or in government custody). But now, ehum, reports are claiming that China has “cleaned up its act”.
Although several outlets (even some Chinese are reporting it) The Daily News couldn’t independently verify that body harvesting hasn’t occurred in the past two years at least. Mostly, because reports surfaced last November that a man was forced to undergo body harvesting procedures while he like before sat on death row like others.
