Trump supporters gather in Charlottesville for violent racist rally

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — We’re going to go ahead and call it like we see it: Trump supporters gathering in Charlottesville for a violent rally.  Over the weekend,   Trump supporters from across the country gathered in Charlottesville amid reports that the statue of a particular confederate leader is being taken down.

Given that it is 2017, that, would perhaps make all the sense. But,  Trump supporters feel that removing the statue is a “violation of their rights” and an attempt by the “liberal left” to rewrite history.

Interestingly,  the situation is being compared to the  Black Lives Matter movement and previous protests like those from Mike Brown.   During the Ferguson protests, 2,200 national guardsmen were deployed into the  situation.
