WASHINGTON, D.C — According to several reports, many reputable, a grand jury in the case against Donald Trump has formed. Reuters reports that special counsel Robert Mueller has “formed a grand jury on numerous possible bases of indictments”. Interestingly, it has now emerged that Mueller and his jury have issued subpoenas among other things — that eventually would reveal dozens of financial crimes committed by Donald Trump and his associates.
Lawmakers on both sides of the spectrum are vying to make it much more difficult than ever before for Trump to sack Mueller, as, many believe he is attempting to dodge Mueller entirely as the investigation heats up. The Daily News confirmed that subpoenas to Donald Trump Jr. and those involved in his meeting with a Russian lawyer were already previously submitted.
Mueller maintains the authority to look into anything that may arise from the investigation whether directly related to the Russian investigation or not.
