This SOS message has people stumped in Australia

An SOS message found in the remote area of Australia, uh, has people taking.  Australian police confirmed to numerous outlets today that Australia’s military and police force, perhaps, are quite stunned as to how it happened.

Police officials authorised one official to speak to The Daily News who described the find as “eye brow raising” mostly because signs of life and a camping site were reportedly discovered. The issue? Even helicopter reinforcements to the reclusive island still couldn’t turn up anything in the search.

Police did confirm that an additional search with more eyeballs is underway as more signs of life are found. Although it has not yet been ruled out to be a hoax.
