After a seven year legal battle, Chelsea Manning, is now a free woman. Manning, who will remain on active duty pending a special status, jumped on Twitter following her shocking release.
“Whatever is ahead of me is far more important than the past. I’m figuring things out right now—which is exciting, awkward, fun, and all new for me” reads a statement from Manning. Meanwhile, Pulse Films, has announced that a documentary about her crime and the tme she spent in jail is underway in Cannes.
