Big trouble in Washington today as a New York Times piece has government watchdogs sniffing around the White House. According to the piece, Donald Trump reportedly “tried to in a sense bribe James Comey, the then FBI-director into a fathomable stint of “personal loyalty”.
That part right there has government watchdogs talking. Also in the piece, it, has now been claimed that the infamous dinner between Comey and Trump in January played a big part as to why Comey was eventually fired.
As expected, The White House denies that Trump tried to “get an agreement of personal loyalty” out of James Comey during the dinner. Although the account prescribed in the Times piece goes into much greater depth than that of Trump ‘s own account in his previous interview.
