A Colorado State University student is in the headlines this week, but uh, for reasons that nobody actually wants to be. In videos posted online, the student is pictured being “body slammed” to the ground by local authorities. The video (see below) has since gone viral and sparked police investigations claiming abuse of force.
The young woman has been identified as Michaella Surat, 22, a student at Colorado State University. According to ABC News, she has been charged with third degree assault and obstructing justice (note: nobody’s really sure what happened here).
