ISIS has claimed responsibility for the lame attack on Egypt

Palm Sunday is supposed to be a good day for most, but in Egypt, it turned into a deadly bloodbath after twin bombs blew a church to pieces.

The attacks occurred on Coptic Churches in the cities of Alexandria and Tantra.  ISIS was quick to claim responsibility for the lame attack on Palm Sunday, which further solidified their clear struggle to grapple with rising egos in their circle of power.

The death toll in the attacks remains unknown. We were unable to independently confirm how many died but were told that scores were injured.

The National Defense Council released a statement.

“The attack will not undermine the resolve and true will of the Egyptian people to counter the forces of evil, but will only harden their determination to move forward on their trajectory to realize security, stability and comprehensive development,” the statement said..
