The fact that an entire college cheerleading squad got secretly suspended had the internet talking. When the news broke, much, wasn’t known as to why such happened. Now thanks to a FOIA by the Sun Sentinel, details are suddenly making sense.
A criminal investigation report was apparently uncovered which greatly detailed an alleged prostitution ring at the hands of South Carolina’s Coastal University squad. The criminal complaint (allegedly sent by one of the johns) details that each of the girls accepted thousands of dollars in gifts; money, financial means, purses, gifts, and clothes.
An attorney for the girls reportedly denies the allegations, although, the school confirmed in a statement that they’ve been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.
