Ivanka Trump: Americans don’t know the impact that I have

You read that headline right, and no, that wasn’t a fumble or play on words. In an interview with CBS’s Gayle King,  Trump (assistant to the President) took to the airwaves in America to discuss Saturday Night Live claiming she was “complicit” in her fathers Presidency.

The interview itself reads like a psychiatric evaluation for narcissism.

  • “I realized that having one foot in and one foot out wouldn’t work. And the reality is that it all happened very organically for me.”
  •  “I don’t know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I am doing.”
  • “I would say not to conflate lack of public denouncement with silence … I think most of the impact I have, over time most people will not actually know about.”
  • “For me, this isn’t about promoting my viewpoints. I wasn’t elected by the American people to be president.”

Meanwhile we’re going to happily direct you here to watch SNL ‘s spoof of a fake Trump perfume called “Complicit”.
