Terror attack hits London, casualties unknown

LONDON — A reported terror incident in London has taken place and continues to develop as we speak.  Police crews and the BBC on social media were the first to report that an estranged car on the Westminister Bridge was an apparent terror attacker.

The car reportedly drove into witnesses and the like intentionally before engaging in a gun shootout with police.

We have declared a major incident and our priority is to assess patients and ensure that they are treated and taken to hospital as soon as possible,” the London Ambulance Service said in a statement.

The attacks occurred just outside of The House of Parliament where the assailant had a knife. Parliament remains on lockdown.

Sources at MI5 have confirmed that the terror level in the UK has been upgraded to severe.
