BAKERSFIELD, CALIF — Serial killer Charles Manson has reportedly been taken from prison to a treatment center in Bakersfield for a “serious medical condition” that authorities refused to disclose. According to the Department of Corrections, Manson, “has been experiencing illnesses” but would not disclose what they were.
Manson was put in prison in 1971 after having his followers, mostly young women, kill a number of people in 1969 in what was later dubbed “cult-like killings”.
