Here’s how that conversation apparently went. According to White House officials, Obama picked up the phone to speak to Trump following an apparent jab-for-jab publicly following that Israel resolution and the UN.
The White House confirmed that the call “went well” and the two men exchanged words over quite a few topics including that their staffs are “getting along well”. Trump had apparently tweeted that he and Obama weren’t getting along after a certain span of events including that Israeli resolution.
But following the phone call, Trump told reporters outside of his Mar-a-Lago home that “things went well” and that the two men will continue to work through the end of Obama’s presidency and even after.
