If there was ever an award for the most ironic news article ever written, perhaps, its this one. Two Canadian women are in jail in Nigeria this week after apparently trying to pull a massive scam on a local billionaire.
Yes, we’re fully aware that paragraph there is seeping with irony. Jiyoti and Kiran Mathaloo apparently set up a massive squandering scam in hopes of railing millions from more than 275 men. The women are apparently accused of being escorts; prostitutes, and breaking civil protection laws.
The duo was apparently in court on 23 December. Police say that they tried to claim that they had footage of a particular billionaire sleeping with other women and then tried to sell it to gossip websites in Africa. They stand accused of sleeping with more than 100 women.
