Boarding school finally settles over decades of historic sexual abuse

imageA famed Rhode Island boarding school has officially settled in a long reported string of sexual abuse history at their school.  According to information and documents obtained by  The Daily News,  St Georges Boarding School reportedly settled with some 30 students who claim they’ve been sexually abused while at the school over the past twenty or so years.

The public demise of the school reportedly started with the allegations from Anne Scott, who, had originally claimed that she was raped by an athletic director in 1979. Six more students reportedly came forward following her own allegations, which, later resulted in dozens more confirming the same allegations by the same athletic director and others.

The terms of the financial agreement in the lawsuit were not immediately disclosed.
