In a large push by human rights organizations, this, could be considered a monumental win. According to reports, drug-giant Pfizer has reportedly announced (and claimed it made some changes) to the way it sells its drugs and who they get sold to. Pfizer,,, in the announcement, cited that from this point forward — their drugs will not be sold to correctional institutions.
The statement, per its website, joins fellow Pfizer owned companies like Hospira — who — hope that banning the sale of such drugs to correctional places may limit the number of irregular human executions.
