JOESMINNESOTA —  If you’ve ever graced most of the South, and particular states along the east coast, then you’ve probably heard of Joe’s Crab Shack. But this week, Joe’s Crab Shack is probably wishing it didn’t know anybody at one particular Minnesota location (and a reported Los Angeles location) after it was revealed that they went off and used a photo of “Black men being lynched” as table decor.

According to USA Today,  the photo dates back to 1895 featuring black men being lynched as white men look on in Groesbeck Texas.   The photo ignited outrage after patrons at the original Minnesota location first noticed the photo on their table, some of which, has reportedly been seen at numerous locations across the country.
