She’s best known for her works like To Kill a Mockingbird, but, it has now been confirmed that legendary author Harper Lee has passed away. According to AL.com, the 89-year-old literary icon passed away this week — her cause of death – has not yet been revealed. Hometown sources reportedly confirmed the news first to AL.com, who, has been unable to garner any further information at this time.
No cause of death or funeral plans have been announced as of this writing. Lee, recently released Go Set a Watch Man to much controversy and discussion last year. Her lawyers, however, are hinting around a reported third book to bridge the events of Mockingbird and Watchman all together.
