TEXAS — Well, this one, er, might cost Ted Cruz come tax return time (which is right around the corner for most Americans). According to Ted Cruz, who spoke to wild crowds in a NH audience, he apparently lost his health insurance at the end of 2015 — thanks in alleged part to none other than Obamacare.
However, not everybody is buying it. Per The New Yorker, Cruz’s claim that millions of Americans lost their insurance plainly because of Obama and his signature healthcare law, er, doesn’t quite add up. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, Obama’s healthcare law, indeed, caused millions to lose their individual plan — but resulted in millions more gaining healthcare they didn’t have before.
