Apparently selfies (as awfully annoying as that word is) can serve a purpose. French dancer Brahim Zaibat (think Madonna’s ex boyfriend) found himself in hot-water during the French elections (yeah, in case you missed it, those actually happened). One day before the elections were set to take place, Zaibat apparently posted a photo of Le Pen sleeping on a plane.
The photo was actually taken months ago (allegedly) whereas Zaibat claims that he posted the photo intentionally to “serve” a purpose just before the elections. La Pen, has since sued Zaibat for the release of the photo claiming that his social media post “cost he and his daughter the French elections”.
