Uh oh: France spies on its people, too

FRANCE1Seems just weeks after a spying scandal made waves in the United States — news of spying in other countries is slowly but surely trickling out into newswires around the world.  According to French newspaper Le Monde,  France’s surveillance program DGSE has ‘for years been monitoring our every activity’.

The paper alleges that alike the U.S the DGSE keeps track of residents ‘every move’ by means of ‘phone calls, e-mails, text messages, and even social media’. But alike the U.S the actual phone call isn’t recorded.
