It’s a bad bad day to be Tiffany & Co. The jewelry giant apparently is engulfed in a nasty theft case with its former VP after authorities discovered that 46-year-old Ingrid Lederhaas-Okun had stolen more than 175 pieces of jewelry from the iconic store. Okun, reportedly sold most of the pieces for a cool $1.3million to a Midtown Manhattan dealer — and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
Cops first discovered the theft after they noticed large checks (and a large number of them together) written to both her husband and Okun herself.
