How NSA whistleblower successfully stole secret data

Snowden1It didn’t take much for Edward Snowden to make shift, download, and flee. [Literally]. According to The Los Angeles Times, the former CIA contractor apparently stole each of the classified documents he leaked via a humble thumb drive — but not before he downloaded them from various intelligence servers in the United States.

A source told the LA Times that authorities discovered how exactly he did it after surveying computers in the office area he formerly worked at. The million-dollar question anti-Snowden critics have at this point; is how such a low level employee managed to gain access to such sensitive information.
